Membership is for the individual and is TZS50,000 per year, payable at the first meeting of the New Year.

Guests are welcome to attend the meeting free of charge.

Code of Business Practice

 

The promotion of high standards of business ethics remains central to the South African Business Forum's mission. 

 

Every member, on joining the SABF, undertakes to observe our Code of Business Practice, adopted in 2004, as set out below:

 

We accept the competitive private enterprise system as the best means of ensuring that the requirements of the customer are fully and faithfully met, in terms of price, quality, variety and service.

We further accept that the foundation of business should be integrity, fair dealing and efficient service.

 

We stand for fair competition and reject all acts characterized by bad faith, deception, fraud, oppression or bribery.

 

We accept that representation of goods and services should be truthfully made and scrupulously fulfilled.

 

We undertake to avoid all untruthful or misleading statements in publicity or advertising.

We accept the need to be mindful of our status as guests of the Government of Tanzania and, as such, will at all times project a positive image and will not willingly embark on activities that might bring the image of South Africa into disrepute.

 

We accept this code in to and agree to submit controversies arising there under to settlement by voluntary agreement and within the disciplines of the South African Business Forum.
